Join Topfibra’s engineering team

Build engineering that goes into real production.

Topfibra is hiring a Mechanical Engineer and an Electric & Automation Engineer to work on production systems, commissioning, equipment improvement, and technical problem-solving.

Some engineering jobs stay on paper. These do not.

At Topfibra, engineers work close to production. You help design, improve, test, and support systems that are used in real manufacturing environments. You work across engineering, production, quality, and site activities to improve performance, solve technical issues, and move projects from design into execution.

If you want practical engineering work with real responsibility, these roles are built for that.

We are looking for engineers who want to do practical, hands-on technical work that supports real industrial applications.

  • combine design work with practical technical problem-solving
  • support commissioning, upgrades, and performance improvement

You will help design, improve, and support mechanical systems and manufacturing processes. Your work will include engineering documentation, equipment analysis, troubleshooting support, commissioning activities, and process improvement.

  • Support production and site teams in solving mechanical and equipment-related issues
  • Improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and production performance
  • Contribute to equipment analysis and preventive maintenance planning
  • Participate in installation, commissioning, upgrades, and design improvements
  • Work with internal teams and external engineering partners to move projects forward

What you should bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and production equipment
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

It helps if you also have

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial production
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methods
  • Familiarity with production machinery, automation, or process optimization

The Mechanical Engineer works from our engineering office in Ajdovščina, Slovenia, collaborating closely with our sales/after-sales service team, production/quality control team and site supervision team.
